Individual Walks

When it comes to dog walking, I strive to meet your dog’s specific needs. Whether you want your dog out for a leisurely stroll around the block or a brisk walk with some distance to help keep your dog(s) in shape, I will do my best to accommodate your every need. I can walk your furry kid in your neighborhood or another location if that is preferred. Taking long walks has many benefits for your dog. And the saying goes “a tired dog is a good and happy dog”.

Group Walks

I don’t walk dogs together that are unfamiliar with each other. Only dogs from the same home are walked together, as it is important for me to stay focused on any problems before they arise. For example, if two dogs are walked together that are unfamiliar with each other I would be keeping my attention on any problems that may arise between them, rather than watching for potential problems that may be headed in our direction that can be addressed right away, i.e. another dog, bicycles, kitties, etc.

Pet Sitting

Caring for animals in their own home has many benefits. Being boarded at a kennel can be a stressful & unhappy experience for your furry babies. While being cared for in their own home has many benefits. Sure, your animals will miss you while you’re away, but at least they are in their own home around familiar sights and sounds. The only thing missing will be YOU, and I will do my best to fill that role while you are away. I know that when I am away on vacation, business, etc, knowing that my own furry babies are being cared for at home allows me to enjoy my time away.

About Me

Before I began pet sitting & walking dogs, I worked as a caregiver with Hospice patients. I now apply the same kindness, patience, compassion and responsibility when caring for animals. Although my business is relatively new, my experience with taking care of animals is not. Having grown up around many different animals, I am aware of the responsibilities that are involved with caring for them. Whether it be overnight taking care of cats, walking dogs, etc, I will take care of your furry kids as if they were my own. And…. believe me, my animals live like kings. Your pet’s happiness, safety and security are my number one priority.
I am dependable, professional and ethical as well. I am committed to providing the same loving care that you give your own animals and taking care of your home as well. It is important to me to provide you with the feeling that everything is in good hands while you are away.

This is my cat Theodora and my name is Vikki. Dana has been our very good friend and cat-caretaker for 4 years. She trims Theo’s nails on a regular basis. She also administers Theo’s medication when needed, as well as taking her to the vet. She cat-sits for me when I need to be away from home. And knowing that Dana is taking of my Theo, I am able to enjoy myself while I’m away, instead of constantly worrying about her. Dana has been walking my dog Marty for sometime now. He is absolutely crazy about her and waits for her at the door, so he can greet her with happiness, tail wags and kisses. Dana is absolutely crazy about Marty too. When Marty is out with Dana I do not have to worry. His safety is first and foremost for her, but at the same time she makes sure that Marty has a great time. I trust her with a key to my apartment so that she can pick up Marty if I’m not home. Dana has been walking and caring for my little girl Bear. I do not trust just anyone to walk her, but after seeing Dana with other animals, I know that I can depend on her to keep Bear safe. When she began walking her Bear was a handful. She was not leash trained and didn’t understand any type of communication. After the first couple of walks, Dana was able to train her to walk on a leash. Bear also knows several commands now too. If you are considering using her service, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. I am absolutely thrilled with her help and my Bear is pretty darn fond of her too.
